I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a non-judgmental place to be witnessed, reflected, and encouraged. I know how life-changing it was to find a place like that of my own when I really needed it.
In my decade working one-on-one with clients of all ages, I've seen first-hand how expressive the soul can become when containment, care, and curiosity are offered reliably and compassionately.
This is the type of work where ups and downs and unknowns abound, but a therapeutic relationship that serves as an anchor can help you stay the course.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually taking photographs, painting, playing with clay at my local pottery studio, or cozying up with a good film, my partner, and my sweet pup, Toby.

You're not broken, failing, or "missing something"
Turns out you're a part of a human race that doesn't teach young people the fundamentals of emotions, communication, conflict, grief, attention, and attachment. That you're feeling stuck now indicates the need for new resources rather than your own irreparable failure, inadequacy, or unworthiness. It might be time to ask for help.

I see my role as one that helps you unlock its hidden lessons, supports you back to a healing place, and invites you expand through inquiry, alchemy, and meaning-making.

How I Work
Therapy works best when we work together. My part in that collaboration is to offer a nurturing, inquisitive, and gently challenging space that invites you to explore themes of dissatisfaction in your life. Perhaps that’s perfectionism, creative blocks, relationships, unaddressed grief, chronic overwhelm, identity issues, feeling as though you've fallen behind, or struggling to see a worthwhile future.
Reimagining yourself and the world around you can be scary. Care, non-judgment, and gentle humor tend to ease this, which is part of the therapeutic relationship I cultivate.
I use a combination of approaches, including psychodynamic, humanistic, narrative, and relational modalities; therapies that invite you to meet the unconscious needs of your past as they haunt you now while moving forward with updated values, attitudes, and convictions. Where CBT and DBT skills may be helpful, I sprinkle them in.
